Protection against noise
Special attention should be paid to the coefficient of acoustic insulation for windows. The higher values of that coefficient the better windows can protect against noise penetration. On average, that coefficient should be about 30 dB but standard versions of FORIS windows make it possible to reach noise suppression of 34 dB. Such perfect damping of acoustic waves guarantees favourable conditions for relax and work in buildings that are furnished with FORIS windows. When the degree of acoustic insulation needs to be even increased for locations where very high noise levels are extremely harassing, application of glazing panel with special structure is required.
